Shuttles and RideShares – Different shuttles, such as hotel shuttles or rental car shuttles, collect their guests/customers in the Ground Transportation Zone on the lower level, located outside the Baggage Claim area. These transfers are always arranged by the traveler via the hotel or the RideShare company’s app or website.
Trains, Amtrak and Greyhound – The airport doesn’t have a train, Amtrak or Greyhound station on the grounds, but they do in central Houston. Quickest way to transfer to either is by taxi, but it is also possible through public transportation although a transfer in central Houston is necessary. It is also possible to walk from the center to either. To walk to the Amtrak/train station takes around 15 minutes, depending on where in the center you get off the bus, and to the Greyhound station will take around 30 minutes.
